Jurnal Adjektiva: Educational Languages and Literature Studies (2622-6022) well-known as Adjektiva is an forum for original research on linguistics, literature, eduaction an international forum for original research focused on identities as local contexts, like an identity in linguistics, identity in literature, and identity in language education in global and local contexts, especially in Indonesia. These may include but are not limited to various fields, such as we are interested in interdisciplinary studies examining how issues of linguistics, literature, and education in language influence individual and community identities. In order to publish in Adjektiva, a study must have an overview of previous research or theoretical concepts that are packaged to justify the novelty/uniqueness of this study and central focus on local, foreign, minority, heritage, or indigenous languages (or non-standard dialects) and their intersection with either identity and/or education in language, linguistics and literature. We welcome a variety of topics, theoretical orientations, and methodological approaches (both qualitative and quantitative). Studies that highlight the potential of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (e.g. Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Anthropolinguistics, Ethnolinguistics, Stylistics, Dialectology, LHK, Psychopragmatics, etc.). Critical studies of Literature (e.g. Digitizing literature, new literary theories, applied literature). Identity in language and literature(e.g. Ethnic Identity, vocational identity, job identity, religious identity, moral identity, political identity, etc.). Research on innovations or on the effectiveness of various language education program models (e.g. Learning Curriculum, Learning Strategies, Learning Assessment, BIPA, International Language Coaching).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reception of readers, namely students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Class of 2017, Mulawarman University, on the intrinsic elements in Korrie Layun Rampan's short story Perhiasan Bumi and its implications for literary learning in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program based on Rachmat Djoko Pradopo's reception theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used were reading techniques and note taking techniques obtained from research questionnaires, namely questionnaires. The data used in this research is the reader's reception of Korrie Layun Rampan's Perhiasan Bumi short story. The results of this study are in the form of a reader's reception for the short story “Perhiasan Bumi” by Korrie Layun Rampan and its implications for literature learning in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Based on the data analysis, the results obtained include the reader's reception of the intrinsic elements of the short story of the Perhiasan Bumi by Korrie Layun Rampan which was produced after the respondent answered seventeen questions on the questionnaire, and three answers were found that are the same from the respondent on the implications of the reader's reception on the short story in literature learning.

Abstract

This study aims were to describe the form of spelling errors, namely the form of letter errors, the form of word writing errors, the form of punctuation errors, and the form of writing errors of absorption elements in the negotiation texts by students of class X Analysts of Health Vocational High School Samarinda. The data was carried out by giving assignments to students for making negotiation texts and giving questions via google form. The data of this study amounted to 20 students negotiation texts. The spelling errors were analyzed by using PUEBI (General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling) with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that there were still many spelling errors in the negotiation texts of student of class X Analysts of Health Vocational High School Samarinda. Spelling errors that found including errors in the use of letters consisting of errors in the use of capital letters and italics. Word writing errors included word combination errors, preposition errors, numbers and numbers writing errors, and pronoun writing errors. Errors in the use of punctuation marks included errors in the use of periods, errors in the use of commas, errors in the use of semicolons, errors in the use of question marks, errors in the use of exclamation points, errors in the use of quotation marks, and errors in the use of hyphens. Errors in writing absorption elements were not found in this study.

Abstract

The main aim to make a drama script entitled “Year Ten Thousandth” by Fajri Syamsirani as a research with intend of examining the facts of the story and dismantling the script into elements of deconstruction. This study uses a qualitative method, by deciphering word and symbols full of meaning. Describe the data based on the facts of the story, including; characterization, plot, and setting. As well as dismantling the text with Jacques Derrida’s theory Deconstruction, including; Differance (Delay or Differentiator), Trace, and Sous Rature (Crossmark). Then define this drama script with social relations or society. Based on the results of data analysis, the facts found in the story is chronological plot, the main character is the protagonist and Ratu Babangida as the antagonist character. Both of these characters as actors who have a big role in the course of the story. Based on deconstruction’s theory used, which there are all elements, namely differance in the setting of the first time the incident began , Sous Rature also occurs in the time setting because of the differance in dimensions that occur, then the introduction to the conflict that occurs. Cannot to described in reality , and revealed the Trace or absence of meaning to not leave or neglect to worship. Overall, the intrinsic elements of this research able to offer a space for human awareness not to leave obligation. Let alone neglect to worship. Absolutely the extrinsic explain how to describe a deconstruction theory through out in a drama script.

Abstract

The problems studied in this study are (a) How the form of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West; (b) How the function of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West; (c) How the meaning of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West. The aim of the research These are (a) To describe the form of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West; (b) To describe the function the ritual of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West; (c) To describe the meaning of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West. Methods used in research This is method analsys using observation techniques, structured interviews, note, record and listen. Research results obtained from data analysis that has been done by the author, the results of the research are (i) Mantra consists of several series of rhyming words; (ii) is verbal, magic or magical; (iii) asopheric (a special language between the speaker and the interlocutor); (iv) there are words that are less commonly used in everyday life. Function the bargaining spell of the treatment of the Kutai tribe based on the results of its function analysis, namely (i) The function of the mantra as a social controller; (ii) The spell functions as tolerance; (iii) The function of the mantra as a means to pray.

Abstract

The research on the Digdaya novel by Syafruddin Pernyata aims to describe the characters and characterizations as well as social conflicts that occur in society. Characters and characterizations, namely Mustaqim, Fajar Kelana, and Bunga Nirwana as the main characters and there are 36 additional characters, Mustaqim has a protagonist character, Fajar Kelana has a tritagonist character and Bunga Nirwana has a protagonist character. The results of the Digdaya novel research can be concluded that the form of social conflict leads to a dispute or conflict between two forces, namely an argument between Fajar Kelana and his lover Bunga Nirwana because Fajar asked to marry secretly but Bunga refused. The cause of social conflict occurs because of the difference in interests between Fajar Kelana and Mustaqim, hearing the requirements that must be met, according to him, these requirements are unreasonable, causing misunderstandings between characters. Resolution of conflict of consciousness between characters to forgive each other through WhatsApp messages sent by Fajar Kelana character. The impact of social conflict leads to the effects of disputes, namely personality changes. Fajar lived a happy life and managed to get his dream lover, Bunga Nirwana.
